Courtney is part of the early-stage investment team at Active Partners, focusing on mission-driven brands and consumer technologies. With an MBA from London Business School, she brings expertise in sustainability and consumer behaviour, particularly within the food, beverage, and retail/apparel sectors. Prior to joining Active Partners, Courtney worked as a consultant in New York City with Accenture Strategy’s consumer team.

Joe Benn is an entrepreneur and investor with a decade of experience working with leading disruptor brands like Vita Coco and Graze. In 2016, he co-founded Ugly Drinks, scaling it to the US before exiting in 2020. He now leads Grwth, which provides agency and investor matchmaking services and recently launched Grwth Ventures, an early-stage consumer investment fund.

Sara Ashworth is Brand Manager for Lucky Saint, the superior alcohol-free lager, dedicated to changing the game forever and rewarding non-drinkers with a beer they deserve! Sara joined Lucky Saint right at the start of the brand's journey over four years ago, experiencing their growth from a true start up to where they are now.

Levi Levenfiche is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of PerfectTed, the UK’s fastest-growing energy drink brand and the largest matcha brand in Europe. Levi oversees finance and business operations, leveraging his background in real estate, private equity, and venture capital. He co-founded PerfectTed while working in finance, scaling the brand alongside his wife and brother.

Anna Stephenson has over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on high-growth FMCG challenger brands. With a passion for leveraging CRM channels to boost engagement and loyalty, Anna has played a key role in making DASH one of the fastest-growing brands in its sector, with 60% of webshop revenue now coming from subscriptions.

Valeria Granda manages Atlantic Partnerships at Rebuy, supporting agency partners across the East Coast US, Canada, Europe, and the UK. She focuses on helping brands exceed their average order value (AOV) and revenue goals, leveraging her expertise in eCommerce growth strategies.

Rob Barr is Director of Strategic Projects at Recharge, spearheading the latest product innovations and playing a key role in shaping the product roadmap. With an extensive background in subscription commerce, Rob specialises in building best-in-class experiences and helping brands become an essential part of their customers’ lives. Rob is an active angel investor in eCommerce enablement SaaS, supporting the next wave of technology for retail.

Adam Levene is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, having built, scaled, and exited two technology businesses for a combined $250M by the age of 32. He currently advises and invests in Europe’s fastest-growing consumer businesses, including DIRTEA and Surreal. Adam’s last venture, HERO, was acquired by Klarna, where he joined the leadership team.

Matt Brindley is the Senior Partner Manager & Managed Service Lead at Yotpo, where he focuses on building and nurturing relationships with key partners across the UK and Europe. With extensive experience in eCommerce and a strong track record in helping brands leverage customer retention tools and strategies, Matt plays a crucial role in driving growth and innovation within Yotpo's partner ecosystem.

Cameron Goldie is the Head of eCommerce at Grenade, with 8 years of specialised experience in eCommerce strategy across the UK, Switzerland, and the US. At Grenade, Cameron drives both acquisition and retention growth, ensuring profitability through detailed profit and loss analyses. He has a strong foundation in tech stack development, guiding teams to support sustainable growth while fostering a 'people first' mentality.

Steve is the Head of Partnerships at DigitalGenius, where he brings a deep passion for eCommerce technology and a sharp focus on post-purchase customer experience. With extensive expertise in operations, customer experience optimisation, and tech stack audits, Steve helps brands fine-tune their digital strategies.

Rory is a Partner at Piper, one of the UK’s leading investor in consumer brands. Piper invest between £5m and £15m in growing companies to help them become brand legends. Rory joined Piper in 2010 and has led a number of investments in this this time including Mindful Chef, which was sold to Nestle, and the supplements brand Ancient + Brave where he is currently on the board.

John McManus is an entrepreneur in the food, drink and supplement space. Currently, he’s the Managing Director of Balloon Brands, a business dedicated to building better-for-you brands in the UK, and previously scaled brands like Vita Coco, KIND Snacks, Minor Figures and HUX Health.

Franky Athill is a Fractional CMO that helps founders of consumer scale-ups decide what big bets to place through structured Growth Audits, he then brings in the best people to execute the plan, whether that's a full time marketing director, agency or freelancer. Franky is also the founder of Attribution Lab, the MMM agency for B2C scaleups. He’s worked with Trip, Allplants, Mindful Chef and Surreal.

Salma Aboukar is the founder of Qreates, a platform that empowers users with creative control over their designs. With a wealth of experience in the design industry, specialising in CGI and AI, her main focus is on using image generator open source AI models like Stable diffusion, Flux and closed source models like Midjourney to create branded assets. She believes in the transformative potential of AI to empower creatives.

Jamal is co-founder of Jrny, an innovative e-com brand that creates products designed for the neurodiverse. With a background in tech recruitment, he is a self-taught marketer who leverages hands on experience to drive acquisition with a focus on first order profitability. He brings expertise in performance marketing and SEO, is passionate about reshaping the narrative around underserved communities, and is dedicated to pushing boundaries within the DTC space.

Richard spent the last five years as Director of Marketing at Monster Energy, where his role was to launch multiple brands within the Monster Portfolio across EMEA. He recently joined Goodrays to head up marketing, elevating the brand and expanding their reach across further markets.

Mike Stevens co-founded Peppersmith, a good-for-you confectionery brand, after starting his entrepreneurial journey at Innocent Drinks. Following the successful sale of Peppersmith, Mike now advises challenger brands and is the author of the bestselling Direct-To-Consumer Playbook, where he shares insights from top DTC brands like Huel, Graze, and Heights.

Imogen is an eCommerce strategy consultant specialising in FMCG, fashion and lifestyle brands. From joining the founding team at The Duppy Share to leading global eCommerce strategy at Trunki and Pukka Herbs, she has extensive experience driving growth, stability and international expansion online. Imogen now helps scaling brands grow profitably with holistic ecommerce strategy that focuses on building solid foundations for long-term success.

After a decade of experience in brand and marketing management, Nicole founded travelling retail concept, raye the store, in June 2021. More than simply a place to shop, raye is cultivating an ecosystem that aligns brands, consumers, and industry figures who are motivated by the same ethics of wellbeing, and building challenger brands to diversify the marketplace of the future.

Tom Mucklow is the co-founder of Superco, where he leverages his extensive experience in eCommerce and partnerships to help brands grow. He’s also an active angel investor, focusing on D2C brands and the tech that supports them.

Tom Carew is the co-founder of Superco, where he leads our team of commerce specialists, dedicated to helping brands launch and grow on Shopify Plus. With extensive experience in building and scaling businesses, Tom’s expertise spans eCommerce strategy, digital transformation, and operations.
