Shopify growth retainer
What's included
We stay on after launch as an extension of your team.
Each client gets its own pod: an account manager who runs the day to day, two developers, a designer trained in UX and conversion, and an SEO specialist. The same people stay on your account, so they know its history, its targets and how you like to work.
Our founders, Head of Delivery and Head of Client Services sit above the pod for decisions, escalations and commercial matters. The retainer covers new features and fixes, conversion testing, SEO and AI search, email and SMS on Klaviyo, and subscriptions.

Growth
We plan, build and test improvements every sprint, so the store keeps getting better after launch.
How the retainer runs
A quarterly roadmap, delivered in two-week sprints.
Roadmap. The roadmap turns your goals, and your customer experience strategy if you have one, into briefs: better subscription performance, a new market, fewer fulfilment errors, higher conversion. We rank them by reach, impact, confidence and effort, so the work that moves the numbers most for the least effort goes first.
Quarterly review. Each quarter we review results with you, agree the next quarter’s priorities and set the hours. Hours can go up or down from quarter to quarter as your plans change.
Sprints. The year runs in 26 two-week sprints, each with a deadline for briefs and a fixed start, so you know when work will be picked up and delivered. Larger pieces run across several sprints, and small urgent jobs can be fitted in between.
Report. Every Monday you get an email covering the work completed and the work coming up.

How a change goes live
01 Plan
Every roadmap item is a ticket in Jira, scheduled into a sprint.
02 Design
Our designers work in Figma to close the gap between your site and the best in your category.
03 Build
Code lives in GitHub, with a branch for each ticket and a full history of every change.
04 Internal QA
Our delivery team checks the work on a staging theme, including data and integrations, and writes a short test plan.
05 Your testing
You test the key journeys against the agreed scope. We sort what you find into bugs, enhancements and out-of-scope requests.
06 Deploy
We back up the live theme, then deploy from Tuesday to Thursday. We avoid Fridays unless you ask and approve it.
07 Aftercare
For 24 to 72 hours after launch, we watch closely and fix any defects fast.
Response times
Critical
The live site is down or an issue is stopping sales, such as a checkout failure. Resolved within one business hour.
High
Major functionality is impaired but there is a workaround. Resolved within four business hours.
Medium
A non-critical bug, UX issue or optimisation request. Resolved within one business day.
Low
A general change request, content update or enhancement. Resolved within two business days, often sooner.
AI in our delivery
Prototyping
We use Lovable to build quick prototypes, so we can test UX and functionality before we build.
Development
Our developers use Cursor, connected to Figma and GitHub, to keep the path from design to code short.
Testing
We test across browsers and devices on BrowserStack, and use AI to widen test coverage on complex features.

No. We can take over a store another agency built. We review the code first and fix structural problems before adding anything new, as we did for London Nootropics.
Critical issues, such as a checkout failure, are resolved within one business hour, high-priority issues within four business hours, medium within one business day and low within two. The team works 09:00 to 18:00 UK time, Monday to Friday, with WhatsApp for evening, weekend and emergency support. After a serious incident we run a post-mortem to stop it happening again.
Yes, technical SEO and content, including AI search. For Milamend, ranking keywords rose 321% and organic traffic 13% within three months.
They are agreed with each brand, including the number of hours. Hours are set at each quarterly review and can go up or down as your plans change.
It depends on the work, so we don't publish prices. We agree the scope with you first, then price it.
