All merchants can now choose between the one-page checkout and three-page checkout (Nov 16)
All Shopify merchants now have the power to choose a checkout layout - one-page or three-page.
This development is all about customising the shopping experience to suit your brand and your customers' needs. For those of you with young and tech-savvy customers, the speed of a one-page checkout makes this decision easy, merchants with older audiences might opt for a more traditional approach.
Switching between the layouts is a breeze, and all your settings will adapt.
Note for Plus merchants
your checkout layout settings remain as is in the checkout editor.
Markets Pro preferential trade agreement support (Nov 20)
Big news for international sales. Markets Pro has enhanced its capabilities to include support for preferential trade agreements. This means you could see lower duty rates for your products, like under the USMCA agreement.
Make sure your products have the correct country of origin listed to let your international buyers enjoy these benefits. Default country is Taiwan, but you can change this through Shopify support.
This update is a fantastic boost for expanding your market reach and offering more competitive pricing to your international customers.
